In these Terms and Conditions, the following terms carry the meanings set out below:

  • Agreement — these Terms and Conditions, together with any supplementary documents incorporated by reference.
  • Company / We / Us / Our — Garuda Strategy, a professional training and advisory organisation with a registered place of business at 88 Sathorn Tai Road, Thung Maha Mek, Sathorn, Bangkok 10120, Thailand.
  • User / You / Your — any individual or entity accessing this website or enrolling in a programme offered by Garuda Strategy.
  • Service — the website located at garudast, together with all educational programmes, course materials, and advisory content made available through it.
  • Content — all text, course materials, case studies, structured frameworks, faculty presentations, and related intellectual work made available by the Company.
  • Programme — any structured course or learning engagement offered by Garuda Strategy, including Foundations of Risk Inquiry, Practical Risk Advisory, and Senior Risk Stewardship Programme.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website or submitting an enrolment enquiry, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept these terms, please discontinue use of this website.

You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. If you are enrolling on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand.

3. Service Description

Garuda Strategy provides professional development programmes in enterprise risk management, risk advisory practice, and senior risk governance. Our programmes are designed for working professionals in Thailand and the wider region.

Programmes are currently delivered in Bangkok. The Company reserves the right to adjust delivery format, schedule, or venue in response to circumstances, with reasonable notice provided to enrolled participants.

Enquiries submitted through this website are subject to an assessment process. Submission of an enquiry form does not constitute a confirmed place in any programme. Formal enrolment is confirmed only upon receipt of a written offer from the Company and payment of the applicable fee.

4. Enrolment & Accounts

Enrolment in a programme begins when the Company issues a written offer of a place and you confirm acceptance and pay the programme fee in full, or arrange a payment schedule agreed in writing.

You are responsible for ensuring that the personal and professional information you provide during the enquiry and enrolment process is accurate and current. Providing false or misleading information may result in withdrawal of a place.

Programme places are personal and non-transferable unless the Company agrees otherwise in writing. If you are unable to attend, please contact us at [email protected] as early as possible to discuss your options.

5. User Responsibilities

As a user of this website and a participant in our programmes, you agree to conduct yourself in a manner consistent with professional standards and the collegial environment that characterises our teaching rooms.

You agree not to:

  • Use this website for any purpose that is unlawful or contrary to these terms.
  • Copy, distribute, or commercially exploit any Content provided by the Company without written permission.
  • Disrupt, damage, or impair the operation of the website or any network connected to it.
  • Engage in conduct during a programme that interferes with the learning environment of other participants or that is disrespectful toward faculty or staff.
  • Record sessions, distribute session recordings, or reproduce case materials without the express consent of the Company.

6. Intellectual Property

All Content on this website and within programme materials — including but not limited to curriculum frameworks, case studies, faculty notes, assessments, and the Garuda Strategy name and identity — is the intellectual property of Garuda Strategy or its licensors.

Enrolled participants are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive licence to use programme materials for their own professional development during and after the relevant programme. This licence does not extend to commercial use, redistribution, resale, or adaptation without written consent.

Work produced by participants during a programme (including project submissions and reflective pieces) remains the participant's own property. The Company may, with your consent, reference anonymised examples in future programme materials.

7. Payment Terms

All fees are denominated in Thai Baht (THB). Programme fees are as follows:

  • Foundations of Risk Inquiry — THB 12,000
  • Practical Risk Advisory — THB 35,500
  • Senior Risk Stewardship Programme — THB 87,000

Fees are payable in full prior to the programme start date unless a written instalment arrangement has been agreed. Accepted payment methods will be communicated with your enrolment offer.

Cancellation and refund: Participants who withdraw more than 21 days before a programme commences will receive a full refund, less an administrative processing fee of THB 1,500. Withdrawals received between 8 and 21 days before commencement will receive a 50% refund. No refund is available for withdrawals notified within 7 days of commencement or after a programme has begun, unless exceptional circumstances apply at the Company's discretion.

The Company reserves the right to adjust programme fees for future cohorts. Fees quoted at the time of your enrolment offer will be honoured for that cohort.

8. Programme Terms

Attendance: Active participation is central to the learning design of all programmes. We ask participants to attend at least 80% of scheduled sessions. Where attendance falls below this threshold, the Company may, at its discretion, decline to issue a completion acknowledgement.

Completion acknowledgements: Participants who complete the required sessions and, where applicable, submit the required project or reflective piece will receive a written acknowledgement of completion from Garuda Strategy. These acknowledgements are statements of participation, not formal qualifications or certifications registered with any government or professional authority.

Academic integrity: All submitted work must be the participant's own. The use of others' work without appropriate attribution, or the submission of work produced by artificial intelligence tools as one's own professional reflection, is inconsistent with the ethos of these programmes.

Programme modifications: The Company may adjust session topics, faculty, or scheduling when circumstances require. Substantive changes will be communicated to enrolled participants with reasonable advance notice.

9. Disclaimers

This website and its Content are provided on an "as available" basis. While the Company takes care to maintain accuracy, we do not warrant that all information is current, complete, or free from error.

Participation in a programme is intended to develop professional knowledge and judgement. The Company does not represent that completion of a programme will produce specific career outcomes, regulatory approvals, or material financial results.

Nothing on this website or within programme materials constitutes legal, regulatory, investment, or financial advice. Participants should seek independent professional advice on matters specific to their circumstances.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable Thai law, the Company's total liability to you in respect of any claim arising out of or in connection with these terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant programme.

The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or incidental losses, including loss of business, loss of revenue, or reputational harm, whether or not such losses were foreseeable.

The Company shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural events, public health measures, or failure of third-party infrastructure.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Garuda Strategy, its faculty, staff, and associated parties from any claim, loss, damage, or cost (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the website or programme materials, or any misrepresentation made by you in the course of enrolment.

12. Termination

The Company reserves the right to withdraw a participant's place in a programme, without refund, if the participant engages in conduct that seriously disrupts the learning environment, breaches these terms, or acts in a manner incompatible with the professional standards expected in risk practice.

You may withdraw from a programme at any time, subject to the refund terms set out in Section 7.

Provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution will survive any termination of this Agreement.

13. Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. The courts of Bangkok shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising under these terms.

Before commencing any formal proceedings, we ask that you contact us at legal@garudast to describe the concern. We will make a genuine effort to resolve the matter through direct discussion within 30 days of receiving your written notification.

If informal resolution is not achieved, the parties may agree to refer the matter to mediation under the procedures of the Thai Arbitration Institute before pursuing litigation.

14. General Provisions

Entire Agreement: These Terms and Conditions, together with any written enrolment confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company with respect to the subject matter herein.

Severability: If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.

No Waiver: The Company's failure to enforce any provision of these terms on a particular occasion does not constitute a waiver of that provision on future occasions.

Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under these terms without the Company's prior written consent. The Company may assign its rights to a successor entity in connection with a restructuring or change of ownership.

Notices: Formal notices under these terms should be sent by email to legal@garudast or by post to 88 Sathorn Tai Road, Thung Maha Mek, Sathorn, Bangkok 10120, Thailand.

15. Changes to These Terms

The Company may update these Terms and Conditions periodically to reflect changes in our programmes, operations, or applicable law. Revised terms will be published on this page with an updated effective date.

For enrolled participants, material changes affecting your current programme will be communicated directly. Continued use of the website after a revision constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
