Why Garuda Strategy

What Distinguishes Our Approach

We work with the understanding that risk management is a discipline of careful observation — not a compliance exercise or a checklist routine.

Faculty With Field Experience

Our faculty bring direct experience advising boards and risk functions, not only academic backgrounds. Course content reflects current practice in Thailand and across the region.

Processional Curriculum Design

Each programme moves in a considered sequence, building on prior concepts. Nothing is rushed. Participants leave with frameworks they can actually apply rather than terminology they quickly forget.

Small, Focused Cohorts

Cohort sizes are kept modest so that discussion remains substantive and faculty can attend to individual questions. Peer exchange is a genuine part of the learning.

Applied, Not Theoretical

Case exercises, workplace projects, and partner engagements are integrated throughout. Participants work on real problems alongside the conceptual material.

Respect for Complexity

We do not simplify risk work into formulas or traffic-light charts. The programmes address the genuine difficulty of the discipline, including its ethical and organisational dimensions.

Clear Progression Pathway

The three programmes form a coherent ladder from foundational to senior practice. Participants can move through the pathway at a pace that suits their current role and responsibilities.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Who are these programmes designed for? +
The three programmes cover a range from those just entering risk work to senior executives overseeing enterprise risk governance. The Foundations programme suits managers and analysts who are new to formal risk responsibilities. The Practical Risk Advisory programme is for practitioners carrying risk management roles or advising organisations. The Senior Stewardship Programme is designed for chief risk officers, audit committee members, and senior consulting principals.
Are sessions held in person or online? +
Our programmes are conducted in person at our Sathorn premises in Bangkok. The teaching room environment — with its capacity for live case discussion and peer exchange — is considered an important part of how the learning works. Arrangements for individual sessions missed due to travel can be discussed with the programme coordinator.
What are the fee payment arrangements? +
Programme fees are payable in Thai Baht. The Foundations and Practical Advisory programmes are payable in full on enrolment. The Senior Stewardship Programme may be paid in two instalments. Corporate sponsorship invoicing is available. Please contact us to discuss your organisation's requirements.
How do I know which programme is right for me? +
We recommend an initial conversation before enrolment. We can discuss your current role, background, and objectives, and suggest which programme best suits your situation. There is no obligation attached to this conversation and no sales pressure. Use the contact form or call us directly.
Will I receive a certificate on completion? +
Participants who complete all sessions and required work receive a Garuda Strategy Certificate of Completion for the relevant programme. The Foundations and Advisory programmes also include a structured assessment component. The Senior Stewardship Programme concludes with a reflective engagement report reviewed by faculty.
How is participant information handled? +
Participant information is used solely for administration of the programme and direct communication relevant to your enrolment. We do not share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Our full privacy policy is available on this website.
